How to say a 'microwave oven' in Korean

The Korean word for a 'microwave oven' is 전자레인지, but many people also call it '전자렌지' or even '렌지' for short.  전자 means an 'electron' or 'electronic' and 레인지 or 렌지 is a transliterated word from the English word 'range.'  Similarly the 'gas range(stove)' is called 가스레인지 or 가스렌지 in Korean. '가스' is another transliterated word from the English word 'gas.' If someone says just '렌지' technically it could mean both 가스렌지 and 전자렌지, but normally it means '전자렌지', a 'microwave oven.'
