How to say 'Closed until Monday' in Korean

In English a 'Closed until Monday' sign might mean that the shop is Closed and will re-open on Monday at the usual opening time but in Korean, a similar sign '월요일까지 휴무' means 'the shop is closed, including Monday and will re-open on Tuesday.' I am almost certian or at least that's what I get when I see a '월요일까지 휴무' sign.

 

월요일: Monday

까지: until or by

 

휴무: being off (from work), being closed (for business)

예) 금일휴업: Closed Today, 휴무일: day off

 

 

I guess when you use comparison related words (이상, 이하, 초과, 미만, 이전, 이후, 까지, and so on) if necessary it is better to be more specific to be clear. For example, instead of just saying '월요일까지 휴무' you can add more information like '월요일까지 휴무, 화요일부터 정상영업', '월요일까지 휴무, 화요일에 만나요!', or '월요일까지 쉽니다. 화요일에 만나요!'
